Psion, and its operating system EPOC (allegedly stands for Electronic Piece Of Cheese), laid a solid foundation for upcoming generations of pocketable computers. Starting from advanced calculators and programmable pocket assistants, the EPOC OS evolved into something that could run business activities like emails and spreadsheets without breaking a sweat.
